This position does not involve overseeing 30-student classrooms or implementing district-mandated lesson plans. You will coach focused groups of self-motivated learners seeking accelerated progress, deeper understanding, and educational ownership. What You Will Be Doing
- Engaging students through direct, daily mentorship and motivation—coaching rather than traditional instruction
- Leveraging adaptive learning technologies and AI-driven platforms to enable individualized pacing
- Facilitating small-group sessions centered on leadership development, life skills, and practical success frameworks
- Supporting students in identifying personal strengths and broadening aspirations via customized development plans
- Advancing Alpha's learning methodology through data analysis, field observations, and innovative recommendations
Cultivating enthusiasm for school among young students while enabling 2x accelerated learning through AI integration
Basic Requirements
- Availability to work on-site in Palo Alto, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Miami, FL; Chicago, IL; Santa Barbara, CA.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
- Verified track record of exceptional achievement (examples: top academic distinctions, D1/Olympic-level athletics, national-level competitions, etc.)
- 3 years of direct experience working with K–8 students in mentoring, coaching, or teaching roles
- Excellent verbal communication and public speaking capabilities
- Current legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
