What You Will Be Doing
- Create and facilitate dynamic, individualized phonics-focused reading workshops for small groups of gifted K-2 learners
- Leverage storytelling and interactive approaches to drive learning acceleration 5-10x beyond conventional standards
- Monitor student advancement and modify sessions dynamically to address evolving group requirements
- Provide individualized and small cohort coaching to generate quantifiable improvement in adaptive literacy and composition applications
Reading Specialist key responsibilities
- Available to work on-site at GT.School in Georgetown, TX (relocation assistance available)
- Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in structured literacy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years conducting small-group reading interventions with K-2 students
- Background working with gifted or advanced learners in specialized educational settings
- Skilled in using AI/adaptive learning platforms and interpreting student performance metrics
- Strong instructional presence with capacity to captivate young students using voice, narrative, and enthusiasm
- Authorized to work legally in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
