What You Will Be Doing

• Engaging students daily through direct mentorship and motivational coaching—no traditional lectures, only impactful peer-level guidance
• Leveraging adaptive learning technology and AI-driven platforms to enable individualized pacing for every student
• Facilitating small-group sessions that emphasize life skills, leadership development, and practical success frameworks
• Supporting students in identifying personal strengths and broadening their aspirations via tailored growth roadmaps
• Participating in the continuous evolution of Alpha's educational approach by sharing data, observations, and innovative recommendations
  
  

Basic Requirements

Student Learning Coach key responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Proven track record of exceptional achievement (e.g. distinguished academic accolades, D1/Olympic athletics, national-level competitions, etc.)
• 3 years of hands-on experience working with K–8 students in mentoring, coaching, or teaching roles
• Excellent communication abilities and comfort with public speaking
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
• Commitment to working on-site in Miami, FL; Santa Barbara, CA; or San Francisco, CA

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
