What You Will Be Doing
- Engaging students daily with direct motivation and mentorship—no traditional lectures, only impactful peer-style coaching
- Leveraging adaptive learning technologies and AI-driven platforms to enable individualized pacing for each learner
- Facilitating focused small-group sessions on leadership development, life competencies, and practical success frameworks
- Guiding students to identify their core strengths and broaden their aspirations via tailored growth roadmaps
- Advancing Alpha's educational model through data contributions, strategic insights, and innovative thinking
Student Success Coach key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Proven track record of exceptional achievement (examples: top academic distinctions, D1/Olympic-level athletics, national-level competitions, etc.)
- 3 years of hands-on experience working with K–8 students in mentoring, coaching, or teaching roles
- Excellent verbal communication and public speaking abilities
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship
- Ability and willingness to work on-site in Miami, FL; Santa Barbara, CA; or San Francisco, CA

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
