What You Will Be Doing
- Inspiring and guiding students through consistent, one-on-one engagement—no traditional lectures, only high-impact peer-style coaching
- Leveraging adaptive learning technologies and AI-driven platforms to enable individualized learning trajectories
- Facilitating small-group sessions centered on leadership development, life skills, and practical success frameworks
- Supporting students in identifying personal strengths and broadening their aspirations via tailored development plans
- Participating in the continuous evolution of Alpha's educational approach by providing data, feedback, and innovative thinking
Learning Guide key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Proven track record of exceptional achievement (e.g. top academic honors, D1/Olympic athletics, national competitions, etc.)
- 3 year's experience working directly with K–8 students in a mentoring, coaching, or instructional capacity
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Willingness to work in-person at Miami, FL; Santa Barbara, CA or San Francisco, CA

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
