At Alpha, students bypass traditional lectures. They progress through academic content using AI-driven adaptive software at individualized speeds, frequently mastering an entire grade level within weeks. Your role encompasses everything beyond the software's capabilities: guiding students through setbacks, teaching them to provide constructive feedback, maintaining standards they didn't realize they could reach, and fostering genuine enthusiasm for learning. You'll facilitate hands-on life skills workshops covering public speaking, concentration, and time management, then conduct motivation sessions designed to inspire authentic engagement rather than mere compliance.
This environment differs fundamentally from conventional classrooms. You'll support a small K-12 student cohort who recognize you personally. You'll monitor their development through Coachbot analytics, identify when learners encounter obstacles, and guide them toward self-directed problem-solving. When every student in your cohort achieves their weekly objectives and 90% deliver positive feedback on surveys, you'll have evidence the approach succeeds because of your execution.
Guides who demonstrate mastery with their cohorts advance to Lead Guide positions—mentoring fellow Guides and influencing campus-wide delivery of Alpha's mission. Alpha continues expanding to new campuses, and those who establish excellence standards now become the architects of future scale. If education hasn't been on your radar but you believe you could alter a child's path, this opportunity transforms that conviction into your profession. Submit your application today.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-12 students addressing topics such as public speaking, concentration, and feedback delivery: interactive, project-driven sessions where you engage dynamically rather than lecture
- Supporting a small student cohort daily, leveraging Coachbot analytics and learner profiles to establish personalized objectives, monitor application progress, and drive continuous advancement for each student
- Developing and administering mastery-based assessments (Test2Pass) that confirm genuine skill acquisition rather than passive attendance
- Building individual relationships with students: discovering their passions, identifying what drives each learner, and tailoring your coaching methods appropriately
- Maintaining performance standards: ensuring 100% of students reach weekly targets, achieving 90% satisfaction ratings on student surveys
- Delivering academic instruction. Students acquire math, reading, and science knowledge through adaptive applications. You won't be positioned at a whiteboard demonstrating long division.
- Creating lesson plans independently. Alpha supplies life skills curriculum and implementation guides. Your responsibility is execution and delivery, not original development.
- Evaluating assignments, conducting parent meetings, or overseeing standardized testing. Report card completion and state test preparation aren't part of this position.
- Supervising students passively while they use computers. When learners face challenges, you coach them toward self-sufficiency. Passive observation contradicts this role's purpose.
- Compromising standards when students resist. The motivational framework depends on maintaining high expectations, not accommodating discomfort through exceptions.
Guide a cohort of K-12 students who are enthusiastic about school, accelerate their learning through adaptive software, and develop life skills via dynamic workshops.

- Authorized to work legally in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
- Background as an athletic coach, theater director, debate coach, or camp program coordinator where you inspired students toward excellence, not merely participation
- Demonstrated history of exceptional personal achievement (academic, athletic, or professional) that establishes credibility with students and parents
