What You Will Be Doing

• Developing and coaching Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops at world-class standards
• Building comprehensive Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, design of engaging learning activities, and strategies for overcoming obstacles
• Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that elevates student participation and outcomes
• Personally coaching a limited student cohort, demonstrating exemplary motivation techniques and mentorship approaches

• Designing lesson plans – your Guides support student learning via adaptive apps; you concentrate on preparing them to be outstanding motivators
• Compromising on excellence – when our success threshold is 100%, your role is to uphold that standard

Senior Learning Experience Manager Key Responsibilities

Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort experiences genuine enthusiasm for school, progresses at 2× the typical rate, and achieves mastery in essential life skills. Zero exceptions.

Basic Requirements

• Currently residing in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at one of the Alpha Campuses (Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Seattle, WA; or CA: East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles)
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or closely related areas.
• Proven track record designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training systems.
• Robust leadership and mentorship capabilities with demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and inspire high-performing teams.
• Background working with young people (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings.
• Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
