What are the responsibilities and job description for the End User Computing Manager, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
You're seeking a system you can own outright. If you've operated endpoint fleets, managed SaaS access, and led hardware procurement at scale — and you'd prefer to construct the operational infrastructure yourself rather than oversee others building it — this position is designed for you. This is a senior individual contributor role. No team to manage. Complete ownership.
2 Hour Learning is expanding a new K-12 model driven by AI-powered personalized learning. Campuses launch at a consistent pace, and the distinction between a campus opening on schedule and one that doesn't frequently hinges on a single operational thread: are devices provisioned, are SaaS licenses activated, are communication tools set up? We're bringing on a VP-level operator to own that thread comprehensively across an expanding network.
You'll oversee device procurement from Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo; manage MDM and provisioning systems; handle SaaS account administration and renewals spanning 14 platforms; and deliver the campus technology onboarding playbook (Google Voice, Zoom Phone, Zoom Rooms). You'll establish the standard for this function's operations — the SOPs, the automation, the AI-enhanced workflows — and you'll be the one implementing it.
If you're looking for a senior IC position with defined ownership, quantifiable launch results, and the freedom to construct the operating system instead of managing a ticket backlog, we want to speak with you.
What You Will Be Doing
This position ensures that every campus launches and runs on time because devices, SaaS access, and launch technology are completely provisioned and operational before opening day.
Basic Requirements
Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be. They’re tearing down the outdated one-size-fits-all model and replacing it with AI-driven personalized learning that helps kids master academics in just two hours a day.
With students consistently ranking in the top 1-2% nationally and the top 20% achieving an astonishing 6.5x growth, they’re proving that smarter learning is possible. At 2 Hour Learning, it’s talent and performance that matter.
They offer a dynamic, on-campus and remote-friendly environment where innovators, educators, and AI specialists can be a part of fixing a broken school system.
2 Hour Learning is reprogramming learning for the AI era.

What You Will Be Doing
- Take full ownership of device procurement from Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo — managing vendor partnerships, lead times, technical specifications, and logistics so each campus receives required equipment prior to launch
- Oversee provisioning, imaging, enrollment, and lifecycle operations for student and staff devices via an MDM platform, maintaining precise asset documentation across the network
- Manage SaaS accounts, user permissions, and licensing across 14 platforms — anticipating utilization trends, renewal deadlines, and access issues before they surface
- Deliver the new-campus technology onboarding playbook from start to finish: staging hardware, provisioning infrastructure, and configuring Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms ahead of opening day
- Define the operational standard — create and update SOPs, runbooks, and launch checklists, leveraging AI tools to automate repetitive tasks so the function expands without increasing headcount
- Leading a team — this is a senior IC position where you execute the work directly, not through delegation
- Operating from a ticket queue evaluated by volume rather than launch success
- Developing long-term IT architecture in presentations while launch dates are missed
- Executing unplanned purchases without inventory tracking, vendor management, or specification documentation
- Relying on others to establish processes — you define them, document them, and refine them each cycle
This position ensures that every campus launches and runs on time because devices, SaaS access, and launch technology are completely provisioned and operational before opening day.
Basic Requirements
- Presently based in the United States and authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
- Available and prepared to travel occasionally to US campuses
- Senior-level expertise managing an MDM platform such as ManageEngine, Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, or similar — owning the system, not merely operating it
- Direct experience deploying and supporting end-user devices (laptops or tablets) at scale, including zero-touch/automated enrollment, imaging, or configuration scripting
- Proven experience managing SaaS platforms across multiple vendors, encompassing account provisioning, permissions administration, and license oversight
- Established ownership of hardware procurement and asset tracking processes — vendor evaluation, asset registers, refresh/disposal cycles
- Solid track record producing and maintaining operational documentation (SOPs, runbooks, playbooks) that others can follow and execute
- Documented use of AI tools to diagnose technical issues or automate recurring operational tasks
- Background owning IT operations in a distributed, multi-location environment with inventory, spare parts, and repairs coordinated across sites
- Proven history of developing automations that substantially reduce manual provisioning, reporting, or renewal activities
- Hands-on experience configuring or managing Google Voice, Zoom Phone, or Zoom Rooms
