What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Manager, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most enrollment positions prioritize volume. This position is designed to safeguard standards.
Alpha is developing one of the most rigorous school models globally. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable results. Afternoon hours are dedicated to deeper exploration, independent work, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But success depends on enrolling the right families.
This is your responsibility.
You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This role does not involve handoffs. You are accountable for the family experience, for ensuring clear understanding of our model, and for verifying that enrollment decisions are made with appropriate intent. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and recommend against enrollment when that serves the mission. The objective is not enrollment volume. The objective is institutional alignment.
We welcome applicants from high-caliber service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive concierge services, premium membership clubs, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a nuanced, multi-phase process with discernment, precision, and accountability.
If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where trust, confidentiality, and experience define brand perception, this role will be recognizable—simply applied to work that produces measurable impact.
This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are recruiting in La Jolla, Los Angeles, Marin County, Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, South Bay. Relocation assistance is provided.
