What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Admissions Counselor, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most admissions roles prioritize volume. This one is designed to safeguard quality.
Alpha is constructing a school model unlike any other in scope or execution. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled learning, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable outcomes. Afternoons shift toward deeper engagement, self-directed work, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But success depends entirely on enrolling the right families.
This is your responsibility.
You will oversee the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with the initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a relay position. You own how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether their decision to enroll stems from sound reasoning. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is to ensure alignment.
We welcome candidates from high-caliber service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private institutions, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, premium membership services, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly managed sophisticated client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a detailed, multi-phase engagement with sound judgment, transparency, and consistent follow-through.
If your career has centered on providing exceptional service where trust, professionalism, and experiential quality define the brand, this role will resonate—applied here to work that produces measurable impact.
This is a salaried, full-time, on-campus position. We are currently hiring in Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Orange County, Roswell, Chicago, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Dallas-Fort Worth. Relocation assistance is provided.
