This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting two 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per week for each student, centered on goal-setting, motivation, and mindset development
- Hosting open "office hours" where students can connect in real time for support, encouragement, or problem-solving
- Leveraging AI tools and progress dashboards to monitor student performance, spot obstacles, and refine your coaching tactics
- Recording insights, concerns, and strategy shifts to keep every student on a path of rapid growth
- Working closely with your team to exchange best practices, flag challenges, and continuously refine the coaching framework
- Delivering lessons, grading assessments, or assigning work—technology handles the instructional side
- Giving lectures or adhering to a rigid curriculum
- Managing unmotivated students through constant oversight—our approach is coaching, not supervision
- Attending excessive meetings or navigating red tape

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
- Demonstrated excellence in any domain—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
- Strong ability to build rapport with students quickly in virtual settings using Zoom/Google Meet
- Comfortable navigating dashboards and technology platforms to monitor and optimize performance
- Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones
- Experience in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational fields
- Familiarity with homeschool or alternative education communities
