What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Admissions Advisor, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Unlike most enrollment positions designed to maximize volume, this role is focused on upholding quality and fit.
Alpha is constructing an exceptionally ambitious educational model. Our schools integrate demanding academics with technology-enhanced instruction and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students advance academically at rates that consistently exceed national averages—a reality confirmed by measurable data. Afternoon hours are dedicated to deeper exploration, autonomous learning, and the development of practical competencies. The approach is effective. However, success depends entirely on enrolling the right families.
This is your mandate.
You will take complete ownership of the campus enrollment process, beginning with initial outreach and concluding with family onboarding. This is not a role where responsibility shifts between team members. You are accountable for the family experience, for ensuring clarity around our educational philosophy, and for confirming that enrollment decisions are driven by proper alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed discussions, and recommend against admission when appropriate. Maximum headcount is not the objective. Proper alignment is.
We welcome applicants whose backgrounds include premium service delivery outside traditional academic settings: selective independent schools, competitive enrichment programs, high-end hospitality, senior-level executive assistance, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurial ventures involving direct management of sophisticated client relationships. What we prioritize is your capacity to execute a thoughtful, multi-phase engagement with sound judgment, transparent communication, and disciplined execution.
If your professional experience centers on delivering exceptional service in contexts where trust, confidentiality, and experiential quality are brand-defining, this opportunity will resonate—applied here to work that produces genuine educational impact.
This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently recruiting for Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Piedmont, Palm Beach, Charlotte, and Raleigh. Relocation assistance is provided.
