What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dean of Enrollment, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most enrollment positions focus on driving numbers. This one is designed to uphold standards.
Alpha is developing one of the most forward-thinking school models anywhere. Our campuses integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and personnel. Students routinely progress faster than national averages, supported by measurable results. Afternoons are dedicated to depth, autonomy, and practical skill development. The model is effective. But its success depends on enrolling the right families.
That's your role.
You will manage the complete enrollment experience for a campus, starting with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a role where you pass families along. You are accountable for how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made with clear understanding. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when that is the appropriate course. The objective is not to maximize headcount. The objective is to ensure alignment.
We welcome candidates from premium service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capability to execute a high-touch, multi-phase process with sound judgment, transparency, and accountability.
If your career has been built around delivering exceptional service where trust, professionalism, and experience quality shape the brand, this position will be a natural fit—just directed toward work that genuinely drives measurable outcomes.
This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are recruiting in Santa Monica, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Piedmont, Palm Springs, Charlotte, and Raleigh. Relocation assistance is provided.
