Families who select Alpha rely on trusted advisors across every aspect of their lives. This is the one role they haven't had—until now.

You will become the person they reach out to when uncertainty arises, when something doesn't feel quite right, or when they want to share a milestone they know you'll appreciate. You'll develop enough familiarity with each family to sense what they need before they articulate it—and you'll possess the judgment and composure to address whatever they bring you with tact, warmth, and apparent ease. Over time, you won't simply be associated with their child's education. You'll become woven into how they experience this period of their family's journey.

This level of trust isn't generated by following a script. It emerges from being present—regularly, reliably, without haste. You'll be there during morning arrivals and afternoon departures, at evening gatherings that carry weight, and in impromptu conversations that never appear on any schedule. You'll cultivate a community that families feel invested in protecting, where a sense of belonging develops naturally and referrals occur because the experience merits them.

Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Students complete their core academics in two hours daily using AI-driven applications, then dedicate the remainder of their time to public speaking, critical thinking, and applied projects. No traditional lectures. No unnecessary assignments. Top 1% outcomes nationally. The families who enroll are investing in something they value deeply—but conviction requires nurturing.

You'll sustain that dialogue with every family, through every uncertainty, for the duration of their child's enrollment. If the prospect of championing an unconventional approach to discerning skeptics feels burdensome, this position isn't the right match. If it strikes you as the most compelling conversation you could be facilitating, continue reading.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Take ownership of the relationship with every family at your campus—the continuous, evolving relationship that ensures parents feel recognized, not merely attended to
  • Identify concerns before they surface as issues, and address them with the tact and interpersonal skill that preserves confidence
  • Maintain visible presence where families gather: morning arrivals (7–9am), afternoon departures (2–4pm), evening parent gatherings, and select weekend programming
  • Develop a campus community with authentic character—programming, rituals, and interactions that give families a sense they're part of something worth defending
  • Foster parent advocates through natural means, delivering experiences so reliably strong that referrals emerge as the organic result
  • Sustain the ongoing dialogue about Alpha's AI-driven approach with families addressing screen time questions, skeptical relatives, and moments of uncertainty—not only during enrollment, but continuously throughout their campus experience
  • Recognize when a family isn't aligned with the community and manage that situation with the same professionalism you apply elsewhere—safeguarding the community is an aspect of serving it
  • Establish the structures and cadences this position demands in a setting where the framework is still taking shape

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Overseeing enrollment—that responsibility belongs to the Admissions Director; your work commences when families join and builds from that point forward
  • Operating from behind a desk—your physical presence within the community defines the role
  • Adhering to conventional 9–5 schedules—early starts, late afternoons, and evening programming are integral to the position, not occasional additions
  • Relying on administrative infrastructure, established procedures, or a complete team—you function with significant autonomy and create what's necessary
  • Approaching family relationships as transactional accounts—this role rewards authentic engagement, not procedural adherence

Regional Director Of Family Engagement Key Responsibilities

Serve as the trusted relationship anchor for every family's Alpha experience. Maintain their confidence through challenging moments, cultivate a community where belonging feels substantive, and establish the conditions under which satisfied families become active advocates.

Basic Requirements

  • Currently live within commuting range of one of these campuses OR prepared to relocate within 60 days (preference given to candidates with established local community ties): Denver, CO; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Tampa, FL; Boston, MA; Bethesda, MD; Charlotte, NC; Las Vegas, NV; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Dallas (Carrollton), TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston (The Woodlands), TX; Park City, UT; Burlington, VT; Kirkland, WA; or Jackson Hole, WY
  • Legally permitted to work in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements
  • 5 years in a relationship-focused position serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families—private school admissions, premium hospitality, philanthropic organizations, or any setting where discretion, interpersonal warmth, and social fluency were as critical as technical skill
  • Proven capacity to maintain relationships through challenging situations with sophisticated families and conclude with trust strengthened
  • Authentic presence and communication approach that builds confidence rapidly with affluent, high-expectation families—genuine rather than rehearsed
  • Direct familiarity with independent, private, or alternative education—either professionally or as a parent—that provides you credible standing when families scrutinize the model
  • Sincere conviction in AI-powered education and the capacity to sustain that belief authentically across years of parent relationships, not solely during initial enrollment discussions
  • Availability for non-standard hours: early mornings (7–9am), late afternoons (2–4pm), evening programming 2–3 times monthly, and occasional weekend events

Nice-to-have Requirements

Outstanding candidates will possess at least one of the following:

  • Established connections within the local affluent community that would provide you immediate, organic credibility on campus
  • Private school or independent school background with demonstrated success in family retention and community development—beyond enrollment metrics alone
  • Experience managing high-stakes family dynamics where your judgment and discretion were the foundation of sustained trust
  • A talent for designing experiences—gatherings, moments, environments—that make people feel they're part of something worth preserving
  • Prior startup or early-stage organizational experience where you built from the ground up and maintained composure amid rapid change
