Families who select Alpha already rely on trusted advisors across every dimension of their lives. This role fills the one advisory relationship they've been lacking.

You will become the person they reach out to when uncertainty arises, when something doesn't feel right, or when they want to share a milestone they know you will appreciate. You'll develop familiarity with each family that allows you to foresee their needs before they articulate them—and you'll possess the judgment and composure to address whatever they bring with discretion, warmth, and ease. Over time, you won't simply represent their child's school. You'll become woven into the fabric of how they navigate this stage of their family's journey.

This level of trust is not built through systems. It emerges from presence—regular, sustained, and unrushed. You'll be accessible during morning arrival and afternoon departure, at significant evening gatherings, and in spontaneous one-on-one exchanges that rarely appear on schedules. You'll cultivate a community that families feel invested in protecting, where belonging is natural and referrals flow from the quality of the experience itself.

Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Students complete core academics in two hours daily through AI-enabled applications, then dedicate remaining time to public speaking, critical thinking, and applied projects. No traditional lectures. No unnecessary assignments. Performance in the top 1% nationally. The families who enroll are investing in something they value deeply—but confidence requires ongoing reinforcement.

You'll sustain that dialogue with every family, through every question, for the duration of their enrollment. If the prospect of championing an unconventional approach to discerning skeptics feels daunting, this position is not suitable. If it represents the most compelling work you could pursue, continue reading.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Take ownership of the relationship with every family at your campus—the evolving, deepening connection that ensures parents feel recognized, not merely attended to
  • Identify potential concerns in advance and address them with the discretion and interpersonal skill that preserves confidence
  • Maintain visible presence in family spaces: morning arrival (7–9am), afternoon departure (2–4pm), evening parent gatherings, and select weekend programming
  • Develop a campus community with authentic depth—events, rituals, and touchpoints that foster a sense of belonging to something families consider worth safeguarding
  • Nurture parent champions organically, designing experiences of such consistent quality that referrals emerge naturally
  • Sustain the dialogue about Alpha's AI-driven model with families managing screen time questions, skeptical relatives, and periodic uncertainty—not only during enrollment but throughout their campus experience
  • Recognize when a family is not aligned and manage that reality with the same care you apply to all interactions—community protection is integral to service
  • Create the structures and routines this role demands in a setting where established protocols are still emerging

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Overseeing enrollment processes—that falls under the Admissions Director; your responsibility begins after families enroll and intensifies over time
  • Operating from an office—your community presence defines the role
  • Maintaining standard 9–5 schedules—early mornings, late afternoons, and evening programming are routine components, not occasional requirements
  • Relying on administrative infrastructure, standardized procedures, or a complete team—you function with significant independence and create what is necessary
  • Managing family relationships as transactional accounts—this role values authentic engagement over procedural adherence

Director Of Partnerships And Community Outreach Key Responsibilities

Serve as the central trusted relationship in every family's Alpha experience. Maintain their confidence during challenging periods, cultivate a community where belonging feels meaningful, and establish conditions under which satisfied families naturally become outspoken advocates.

Basic Requirements

  • Currently living within commuting range of one of the following campuses OR prepared to relocate within 60 days (preference given to candidates with established local community ties): Denver, CO; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Tampa, FL; Boston, MA; Bethesda, MD; Charlotte, NC; Las Vegas, NV; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Dallas (Carrollton), TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston (The Woodlands), TX; Park City, UT; Burlington, VT; Kirkland, WA; or Jackson Hole, WY
  • Authorized to work legally in the United States without sponsorship requirements
  • 5 years in relationship-focused roles serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families—private school admissions, luxury hospitality, philanthropic development, or any context where discretion, warmth, and social acuity were equally critical to competence
  • Proven capacity to preserve relationships through complex situations with sophisticated families and maintain trust throughout
  • Authentic presence and communication approach that builds confidence rapidly with affluent, high-expectation families—genuine rather than rehearsed
  • Direct familiarity with independent, private, or alternative education—through professional work or parenting—that provides credible standing when families challenge the model
  • Authentic conviction in AI-enabled education and capacity to sustain that belief genuinely across years of parent engagement, not merely during initial enrollment
  • Flexibility for variable hours: early mornings (7–9am), late afternoons (2–4pm), evening events 2–3 times monthly, and occasional weekend activities

Nice-to-have Requirements

Exceptional candidates will possess at least one of these qualities:

  • Established connections within the local affluent community providing immediate, organic credibility on campus
  • Private school or independent school background with demonstrated success in family retention and community building—beyond enrollment metrics alone
  • Experience managing high-stakes family dynamics where your discretion and judgment were instrumental in preserving trust
  • Natural ability to design experiences—gatherings, moments, settings—where participants feel connected to something they value protecting
  • Prior startup or early-stage organizational experience where you built from the ground up and maintained composure amid rapid change
