What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating adaptive reading workshops for students aged 4-7 that build core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
• Creating personalized motivational experiences that resonate with children and foster a lifelong enthusiasm for reading
• Evaluating student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and generate actionable insights
• Partnering with the technology team to assess and refine AI-powered literacy tools

Reading Teacher Key Responsibilities

Cultivate a passion for reading in young students

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience conducting small-group reading interventions with early elementary learners
• Capable of evaluating reading levels, forming student groups, and crafting differentiated instruction without reliance on pre-written curricula
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and adept at responding to student behavior within these systems
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
