What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting adaptive literacy workshops for children ages 4-7, targeting core competencies in phonics, reading comprehension, and fluency
- Creating tailored motivational experiences that resonate with young learners and foster enduring enthusiasm for reading
- Reviewing student performance metrics to iteratively improve instructional methods and identify meaningful trends
- Working alongside the technology team to assess and refine AI-powered literacy platforms
- Following pre-packaged curricula or commercially published instructional sequences
Cultivate a genuine passion for reading in young students
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or recognized advanced certification in reading instruction (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent credential)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience providing small-group reading interventions to students in early elementary grades
- Demonstrated ability to assess reading proficiency, organize student groupings, and develop differentiated lesson plans independent of pre-existing curricula
- Comfortable using AI and adaptive learning platforms, with the ability to respond effectively to student interaction patterns
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship
- Available to work on-site at one of the following campuses: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; Chantilly (Washington), VA

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
