Your role: create and implement workshops that produce quantifiable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners, then support us in expanding that framework to campuses nationwide.

What You Will Be Doing

• Conducting adaptive reading workshops focused on phonics, comprehension, and fluency development
• Creating personalized motivational experiences through gamified literacy benchmarks
• Reviewing student performance data to improve instruction and identify actionable patterns
• Partnering with engineers to assess and refine AI literacy platforms based on real classroom outcomes
• Building scalable, AI-integrated materials that support early elementary students in reaching grade-level reading proficiency
  
  

Basic Requirements

Reading Interventionist key responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable program)
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to early elementary students
• Capable of assessing reading proficiency, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-packaged curricula
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and attentive to student engagement patterns within those systems
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
• Available to work on-site at one of our locations: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Plano, TX; Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
