What You Will Be Doing

• Conducting adaptive reading workshops that strengthen foundational competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
• Creating personalized motivational experiences that engage children and foster enduring enthusiasm for reading
• Interpreting student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and extract actionable insights
• Partnering with the technology team to assess and refine AI literacy tools
  
  

Basic Requirements

Reading Coach key responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of experience conducting small-group reading interventions with early elementary students
• Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction without reliance on pre-written curricula
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning tools and attentive to student behaviors within these platforms
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Chantilly (Washington), VA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
