What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting focused, targeted reading sessions that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency
- Creating individualized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks
- Reviewing student performance data to adjust teaching methods and identify actionable trends
- Partnering with engineering teams to assess and improve AI literacy platforms based on classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-supported instructional content that helps early elementary students reach grade-level reading proficiency
- Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to conventional curriculum structures—academic subjects are taught via AI-adaptive applications
Reading Coach key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master's degree in reading instruction
- At least 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to K–2 students
- Capable of assessing reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction without relying on pre-packaged curricula
- Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning tools and interpreting student engagement patterns within those systems
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Phoenix, AZ; Tampa, FL; Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston, TX; Plano, TX; or Dorado, Puerto Rico
