What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director, Alpha - $150,000/year USD position at Crossover?
- On-site position in Atlanta, GA; Oklahoma City, OK; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; or Park City (Salt Lake City), UT
- $150,000 annual salary, distributed weekly. Full health benefits begin on day one
- Considering a move? We provide relocation assistance
At Alpha, this principle is not negotiable. It defines daily operations. Students complete academic coursework via self-directed applications rather than through traditional instruction from educators. This model allows you to focus on what genuinely transforms outcomes: facilitating dynamic workshops on public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback. You'll leverage real-time analytics to motivate students toward full goal attainment. You'll develop the Guides working alongside you. Your toolkit includes data, a tested operational framework, and the executive presence that commands attention from middle schoolers.
A typical morning may involve individual coaching with a Guide, examining Coachbot analytics to pinpoint where a student group is underperforming. By noon you're facilitating an interactive student workshop, executing a playbook exercise on feedback exchange. Afternoons transition to motivational interventions: engaging directly with students, understanding their intrinsic drivers, and applying Alpha's incentive architecture (campus currency, performance rankings) to re-engage a disengaged seventh grader. You maintain direct ownership of a cohort, ensuring you remain proficient in the competencies you're training others to master.
You will be measured against three deliverables: students develop enthusiasm for school, they progress academically at double the rate of conventional classrooms, and they acquire genuine life competencies. Guide coaching begins immediately. As you produce results consistently, your authority over campus-wide program excellence expands.
Maintain the standard. Transform the student. Submit your application now.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour interactive workshops on life competencies (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for students in grades K-8, adhering to Alpha's established playbook
- Conducting motivational interventions using Coachbot analytics and Alpha's incentive framework (campus currency, performance rankings) to achieve 100% student goal attainment
- Developing Guides on program adherence and standards enforcement, with each coaching session yielding concrete action steps for improvement
- Managing your own student cohort concurrently with Guide development responsibilities
- Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide performance indicators
- Teaching or providing academic tutoring to students. Academic learning occurs through digital applications.
- Creating curriculum or instructional plans. Alpha's playbook serves as your operational framework, allowing you to concentrate on delivery and relationship-building.
- Accepting 99% performance when 100% is the standard. Upholding expectations demonstrates your confidence in student capability.
- Developing Guides on instructional methodology. Since Guides don't deliver traditional instruction, your coaching focuses on energy, motivation, and accountability.
Fulfill Alpha's 3 Promises for every student in your assigned level: students develop enthusiasm for school, they advance academically at twice the pace of traditional classrooms, and they acquire genuine life competencies.
