Assess the needs of K-2 learners, develop original evidence-based lessons independently, and contribute to adaptive tools that extend your expertise to hundreds of students. What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating adaptive reading workshops for children ages 4-7 that build core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Creating personalized, motivational sessions that engage young learners and foster a lasting passion for reading
- Reviewing student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and generate actionable insights
- Partnering with the technology team to assess and refine AI-powered literacy tools
- Following pre-scripted curricula or published scope-and-sequence frameworks
Cultivate a passion for reading in young students
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience providing small-group reading interventions to early elementary learners
- Capable of assessing reading proficiency, forming instructional groups, and creating differentiated lessons without relying on pre-written curricula
- Experienced with AI and adaptive learning platforms, and able to respond to student behaviors within these systems
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Availability to work on-site at one of our campuses: Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; Chantilly (Washington), VA

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
