At GT.School, you will guide K-2 students through years of reading advancement in a condensed timeframe, using adaptive technology, motivational coaching, and no standardized curriculum—at one of the world's most forward-thinking schools.

This is a coaching position, not a traditional teaching role. You will support gifted students in accelerating their progress 5-10x through adaptive software and motivational techniques—without lesson planning or classroom management duties. What You Will Be Doing

• Create and facilitate dynamic, individualized phonics-driven reading sessions for small groups of gifted K-2 students
• Leverage storytelling and interactive methods to drive learning acceleration 5-10x beyond conventional standards
• Monitor student advancement and adjust sessions dynamically to address each cohort's evolving needs
• Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching to produce measurable gains in adaptive reading and writing applications
  
  

Basic Requirements

Literacy Coach key responsibilities

• Available to work on-site at GT.School in Georgetown, TX (relocation assistance offered)
• Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in structured literacy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years conducting small-group reading interventions with K-2 students
• Background working with gifted or high-achieving children in specialized educational settings
• Skilled in using AI/adaptive learning platforms and analyzing student performance data
• Strong instructional presence with capacity to captivate young learners using voice, storytelling, and enthusiasm
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
