What You Will Be Doing
- Create and facilitate dynamic, individualized phonics-driven reading sessions for small groups of gifted K-2 students
- Leverage storytelling and interactive methods to drive learning acceleration 5-10x beyond conventional standards
- Monitor student advancement and adjust sessions dynamically to address each cohort's evolving needs
- Provide one-on-one and small-group coaching to produce measurable gains in adaptive reading and writing applications
Literacy Coach key responsibilities
- Available to work on-site at GT.School in Georgetown, TX (relocation assistance offered)
- Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in structured literacy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years conducting small-group reading interventions with K-2 students
- Background working with gifted or high-achieving children in specialized educational settings
- Skilled in using AI/adaptive learning platforms and analyzing student performance data
- Strong instructional presence with capacity to captivate young learners using voice, storytelling, and enthusiasm
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
