Your role is not to deliver traditional instruction—it's to coach. You will facilitate dynamic life skills sessions, inspire children to meet ambitious learning targets, and cultivate the mindset and routines essential for long-term success. What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 learners, providing coaching and reinforcing literacy instruction delivered by Reading Specialists
- Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and reach weekly academic milestones
- Guiding emotional regulation, resilience development, and problem-solving through consistent routines and supportive presence
- Monitoring student development and requirements, identifying concerns proactively, and refining approaches in partnership with your team
- Establishing a classroom environment that balances structure, engagement, and individualized attention
- Delivering instruction in core academic subjects - our Apps handle that
Inspiring children to accelerate learning by 2x and develop a passion for school
Basic Requirements
- Must be available to work full-time on-site at our campus in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
- 3 years of hands-on experience with children ages 4–7 in educational settings, afterschool programs, coaching roles, or comparable contexts
- Engaging storyteller and dynamic presenter: capable of capturing and maintaining the focus of young children in group settings
- Capacity to maintain elevated expectations for both yourself and students, and motivate children to achieve their objectives
- Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to feedback
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
