What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leadership Coach, Alpha - $150,000/year USD position at Crossover?
- On-site in Park City (Salt Lake City), UT; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; Oklahoma City, OK; or Atlanta, GA
- $150,000 annual salary, paid weekly. Health benefits begin day one
- Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates
At Alpha, this principle is foundational. It defines daily practice. Students acquire academic content through independent, app-based learning—not through traditional instructor-led lessons. This structure allows you to focus on what truly transforms outcomes: facilitating dynamic workshops on public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback. You will use real-time data to motivate students toward complete goal attainment. You will coach the Guides working with you. Your resources are analytics, a tested operational playbook, and the personal presence that commands attention from middle schoolers.
A typical morning may begin with a one-on-one Guide coaching conversation, analyzing Coachbot data to pinpoint where a cohort is underperforming. By midday, you're facilitating a live student workshop, executing a playbook exercise on feedback exchange. Afternoons are dedicated to motivational interventions: engaging individual students, identifying their intrinsic drivers, and leveraging Alpha's incentive architecture (campus currency, performance leaderboards) to re-engage a reluctant seventh grader. You maintain direct ownership of a cohort, ensuring you continue to refine the same competencies you're developing in others.
Three outcomes define your accountability: students love school, they progress at double the rate of traditional classrooms, and they develop essential life competencies. You will coach Guides from your first day. As you produce scalable results, your influence over campus-wide program integrity expands.
Uphold the standard. Transform the student. Apply today.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour workshops on essential life skills (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for students in grades K-8, following Alpha's established playbook
- Conducting targeted motivation sessions using Coachbot data and Alpha's incentive framework (campus currency, leaderboards) to achieve 100% student goal attainment
- Coaching Guides on adherence to program standards and fidelity, ensuring every session yields concrete action steps for improvement
- Managing your own student cohort while simultaneously developing other Guides
- Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide performance indicators
- Teaching or tutoring academic content. Students acquire knowledge through applications.
- Creating curriculum or lesson plans. Alpha's playbook serves as your operational framework, allowing you to concentrate on delivery and relationship-building.
- Accepting 99% when the standard is 100%. Maintaining this expectation demonstrates your confidence in student capability.
- Coaching Guides on instructional methods. Guides facilitate rather than teach, so your coaching centers on energy, motivation, and accountability.
Fulfill Alpha's 3 Promises for every student within your level: they love school, they achieve learning outcomes at twice the pace of traditional classrooms, and they develop real life skills.
