What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Brand, Alpha - $100,000/year USD position at Crossover?
IMPORTANT NOTE: This position requires on-site presence at our Austin, Texas campus.
Traditional education focuses on teaching students what to think. This position is designed to instruct them on how to execute.
Alpha is constructing a reimagined high school model—one where students bypass lectures and rote memorization. Instead, they build, launch, communicate, and evolve. They initiate projects, validate concepts, and acquire practical capabilities that elude most professionals. Your responsibility is ensuring they follow through, and do so at a high standard.
You will engage directly with high school students as they launch businesses, manage projects, and cultivate the confidence, communication skills, and competence necessary for post-academic success. Theory is not your focus. Execution coaching is. You will establish rigorous expectations, enforce accountability, and challenge students to deliver work that meets real-world standards.
This opportunity is intended for individuals who have accomplished something substantive beyond academic walls—built a product, expanded an audience, operated within a startup, or delivered results in a dynamic environment—and wish to leverage that background to develop emerging leaders. If you seek a conventional teaching position, look elsewhere. If you aim to influence how driven teenagers think, operate, and perform, this is your platform.
If you've achieved tangible outcomes in your career and want to dedicate your time guiding motivated teenagers toward their capabilities, this is the role. Apply now
