What You Will Be Doing
- Conducting 1-on-1 and small-group coaching sessions leveraging Coachbot analytics and student data to identify obstacles, establish ambitious objectives, and ensure accountability for execution
- Facilitating structured life-skills workshops designed for mastery, drawing on credible examples from your own elite background, and evaluating mastery via Alpha's Test2Pass framework
- Establishing the cultural standard each morning through focused sessions that reinforce high-performance expectations campus-wide
- Monitoring student progress continuously and refining coaching approaches based on data rather than intuition
- Cultivating trusted mentor relationships with students and families through consistent high standards and documented motivation strategies
- Delivering lessons, developing curriculum, or evaluating assignments — Alpha's AI-driven academic platform manages instruction; you manage motivation
- Presenting to a full classroom of 30 students (your work centers on high-touch coaching in small settings, not large-group instruction)
- Supervising other personnel or advancing through an administrative pathway (this role focuses on direct student influence, not organizational management)
- Attending faculty meetings or working through institutional bureaucracy (your time remains student-centered)
- Compromising standards to achieve metrics (if a student reaches 99%, your task is to identify what prevented 100%)

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- At least one documented instance of exceptional accomplishment in a highly selective, globally recognized field (examples include: national or international competition medals, top-tier university graduation with distinction, highly selective firm or fellowship, elite performing arts institution, or founding and scaling a successful venture)
- At least 3 years of experience in student coaching, youth mentoring, athletic coaching, or leadership positions where you demonstrably elevated others' performance
- Willing to work on-site at an Alpha campus in Santa Barbara, CA; Santa Monica, CA; San Francisco, CA; Greenwich, CT; Boston, MA; New York City, NY; or Seattle, WA (relocation assistance provided)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Background in elite competitive athletics (varsity D1, national team, or professional level) combined with experience coaching or mentoring younger athletes
- Experience in high-accountability settings such as management consulting, investment banking, or military leadership
- Proven track record in youth development through mentoring outside academic contexts (community organizations, after-school programs, sports camps)
- Confidence presenting to and establishing trust with high-expectation families investing in premium private school tuition
