What You Will Be Doing
- Guiding students in establishing and reaching personal learning objectives, cultivating their capacity for self-directed education.
- Delivering focused instruction in social-emotional development and early literacy, working alongside Reading Specialists.
- Creating a classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and resilience through hands-on, interactive learning activities.
- Adopting and applying AI-powered educational tools to improve learning outcomes, equipping students for a future where technology and traditional instruction converge.
- Working collaboratively with educators and counselors to support each child's distinct learning path, adjusting to diverse needs and learning preferences.

Educator Key Responsibilities
💡 Lead the cultivation of independent learning skills and life competencies for Kindergarten through 2nd-grade students, preparing young learners for both educational achievement and personal development.
Basic Requirements
- Available to work on-site at one of our locations: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Tampa, FL; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children ages 4 - 8 years old in educational, afterschool, sports, or comparable environments.
- Demonstrated ability to apply growth mindset principles and high-performance coaching methods.
- Eager and comfortable integrating AI and other technologies into teaching practice.
- Authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship.
These qualifications strengthen your candidacy, though meeting the core requirements above is sufficient to apply:
- Degree or certification in early childhood education, child development, reading intervention, or a related area.
- Professional certifications or specialized training in early childhood methodologies including CDA, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia.
- Background as a K-2 classroom teacher, reading coach, or literacy specialist with formal training or professional development in reading and phonics frameworks.
- Familiarity with environments that prioritize individualized learning approaches and educational technology integration.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
