What You Will Be Doing
- Guiding students in setting and reaching individual learning objectives, cultivating self-directed learning habits.
- Delivering focused instruction in foundational literacy and social-emotional competencies, working alongside Reading Specialists.
- Creating a classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and resilience through hands-on, interactive learning activities.
- Leveraging AI-driven educational tools to improve learning outcomes and prepare students for technology-enhanced education.
- Partnering with educators and counselors to address each student's distinct learning profile, adjusting methods to fit individual needs and preferences.

Early Childhood Educator Key Responsibilities

Basic Requirements
- Available to work on-site at one of our campuses: Austin, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Tampa, FL; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years working with children ages 4 - 8 years old in educational, afterschool, sports, or similar environments.
- Demonstrated ability to apply growth mindset principles and high-performance coaching techniques.
- Eager to integrate AI and other technologies into educational practice.
- Authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship.
The following qualifications strengthen your candidacy, but you should apply if you meet the core requirements above:
- Degree or certification in early childhood education, child development, reading intervention, or a related discipline.
- Professional credentials or specialized training in early learning approaches such as CDA, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia.
- Background as a K-2 teacher, literacy specialist, or reading coach with formal training or professional development in phonics and reading frameworks.
- Previous work in environments focused on personalized learning and technology-driven education.

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
