Alpha students do not attend traditional lectures. They engage with AI-driven adaptive software that allows them to progress through academic content at their own speed—sometimes completing an entire grade level in a matter of weeks. Your role encompasses everything the technology cannot provide: guiding students through setbacks, teaching them to deliver constructive feedback, maintaining standards that stretch their perceived limits, and fostering genuine enthusiasm for coming to school. You will facilitate hands-on workshops focused on life skills such as public speaking, focus techniques, and time management, followed by motivational sessions designed to cultivate authentic engagement rather than passive compliance.
This is not a conventional classroom setting. You will support a small, named cohort of K-12 learners. Using Coachbot analytics, you will monitor their development, identify obstacles, and teach them strategies for self-correction. Success is measurable: when 100% of your cohort meets weekly objectives and 90% provide positive feedback in surveys, you will have proof that the model succeeds because of your execution.
Guides who excel with their cohorts advance to Lead Guide roles—mentoring other Guides and influencing campus-wide delivery of Alpha's mission. As Alpha expands to new campuses, those who establish excellence now will be positioned to scale it systemwide. If you have not previously pursued education but believe you can shift a child's path, this role transforms that conviction into daily practice. Apply today.
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour, hands-on life skills workshops for K-12 students covering topics such as public speaking, focus, and peer feedback: project-driven sessions where you engage actively, not passively lecture
- Providing daily coaching to a small student cohort by leveraging Coachbot analytics and individual student profiles to establish personalized goals, monitor app-based progress, and challenge each student to advance
- Designing and administering mastery-based assessments (Test2Pass) to confirm genuine skill acquisition rather than mere attendance
- Building individual relationships with students: discovering their passions, identifying what drives them, and tailoring your coaching style to fit
- Upholding performance standards: ensuring 100% of students meet weekly targets and maintaining a 90% satisfaction rating on student surveys
- Delivering instruction in core academic subjects. Math, reading, and science are taught via adaptive applications. You will not use a whiteboard to explain arithmetic concepts.
- Creating original lesson plans. Alpha supplies a structured life skills curriculum and implementation guides. Your responsibility is execution and engagement, not curriculum design.
- Handling traditional grading, parent-teacher conferences, or standardized test administration. There are no report cards to complete and no state testing preparation required.
- Supervising students passively as they use computers. When students encounter difficulties, you actively coach problem-solving skills. This role is the opposite of passive oversight.
- Compromising standards in response to student resistance. The motivational framework depends on maintaining high expectations, not adjusting them when facing discomfort.
Guide a cohort of K-12 students who are enthusiastic about learning, accelerate through adaptive software, and develop life skills via interactive workshops.

- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
- Background as a sports coach, theater director, debate coach, or camp program coordinator where you inspired children to excel, not merely attend
- Demonstrated record of significant personal achievement (academic, athletic, or professional) that commands respect from students and parents
