What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct one-on-one and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating instructional techniques and recognizing measurable progress
- Plan and lead play-based learning sessions that integrate social-emotional learning, literacy, numeracy, and motor development—setting the standard for the teaching team
- Audit and align Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric fidelity and actionable insight, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain transparent milestone tracking
- Create family communications and convene team meetings to synchronize efforts and uphold collective commitments to campus-wide PreK readiness objectives
Early Childhood Instructional Coach key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or advanced certification is preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a comparable field
- Direct experience facilitating learning for young children between the ages of 3 and 5
- Demonstrated success in designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that support developmental milestone achievement, such as Montessori approaches
- A minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising a team of educators with clear performance expectations
- Effective written and oral communication abilities for transparent family engagement and team coordination
- Legal authorization to work in the United States with no requirement for visa sponsorship
- Availability to work onsite at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support offered as needed

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
