What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Guest Relations, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Many enrollment positions prioritize volume over quality. This role is designed to uphold standards.
Alpha is constructing a school model of exceptional ambition. Our campuses integrate demanding academic programs, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely exceed national learning benchmarks, and measurable evidence confirms this. Afternoons are reserved for deeper exploration, autonomous work, and practical competency development. The model delivers results—but only when matched with families who share our philosophy.
This is your responsibility.
You will manage the complete enrollment experience for a single campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a fragmented handoff structure. You will determine how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made with clear intent. You will evaluate alignment, facilitate informed discussions, and advise against enrollment when necessary. The objective is not to maximize enrollment. The objective is to ensure compatibility.
We welcome applicants from high-caliber service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive admissions programs, upscale hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership communities, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen sophisticated client experiences from beginning to end. What counts is your capacity to execute a refined, phased engagement with sound judgment, transparency, and accountability.
If your professional background includes delivering exceptional service where confidence, professionalism, and experiential quality determine brand perception, this position will resonate with you—applied now to work that drives meaningful impact.
This is a salaried, full-time, on-site position. We are currently recruiting in La Jolla, Los Angeles, Marin County, Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, and South Bay. Relocation assistance is provided.
