What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Guest Relations, Alpha - $200,000/year USD position at Crossover?
Most enrollment positions are designed to maximize volume. This position exists to safeguard quality.
Alpha is developing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our campuses integrate rigorous academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely outpace national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoons are dedicated to deeper exploration, independent work, and practical competency development. The model delivers results. But success depends entirely on family alignment.
This is your responsibility.
You will manage the complete enrollment experience for a campus, starting with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a role where responsibilities are passed along. You own how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices reflect genuine fit. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advocate for declining enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not filling seats. The objective is strategic alignment.
We welcome applicants from elite service sectors outside conventional education: independent schools, competitive admissions programs, high-end hospitality, executive concierge services, exclusive membership clubs, or entrepreneurial backgrounds managing premium client relationships from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a sophisticated, phased process with discernment, precision, and accountability.
If your career has centered on delivering exceptional service where reputation depends on trust, professionalism, and experiential excellence, this role will resonate—applied now to work that drives measurable impact.
This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in La Jolla, Los Angeles, Marin County, Palo Alto, Piedmont, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, South Bay. Relocation assistance is provided.
