What You Will Be Doing

• Create and facilitate exceptional learning programs – Develop workshops across subjects (mathematics, sciences, philosophy, creative writing) and deliver 1-on-1 coaching for 15-20 gifted learners operating at 5-10x standard velocity
• Identify and resolve learning barriers – Adjust methodologies dynamically to support students who have exceeded the limits of conventional education and need to discover their intellectual capacity
• Apply AI tools for individualized instruction
• Coordinate and refine processes – Improve workshop frameworks alongside colleagues and measure effectiveness using both qualitative insights and quantitative data
  
  

Basic Requirements

Academic Success Coach key responsibilities

• Premier educational background – Bachelor's degree from an Ivy League institution or peer university
• Demonstrated academic achievement – National Merit Finalist, Olympiad medal recipient, accelerated college completion, or comparable distinction
• Exceptional academic credential – Distinguished scholarship award (Rhodes, Fulbright, NSF GRFP), membership in Mensa/Triple Nine Society, doctoral degree, or experience teaching at university level
• 3 years of mentorship background – Direct experience coaching, mentoring, or instructing students in any setting
• Regular AI tool engagement – Self-reported daily interaction with generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
• Geographic flexibility – Prepared to relocate to or maintain in-person presence in Austin (Georgetown), TX
• Employment eligibility – Authorized to work legally in the United States without employer sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
