Role: Tech Lead
Compensation: $300k - $450k Equity
Location: San Francisco, California
YOE: 5 years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering at top tier companies
About This Role
Tech Lead role responsible for hands-on backend development, guiding system architecture, and implementing scalable software practices. You will mentor engineers, improve code quality, manage technical debt, work with columnar/OLAP databases like Clickhouse, and collaborate with the founding team on key decisions for system reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering at top tier companies
- Experience at known, top tech companies either tier 1 VC- backed or FAANG
- Experience with an OLAP or columnar database (e. g. , ClickHouse)
- Experience designing and building scalable backend systems
