Investment Banking Analyst | Remote

Position: Growth Equity & Venture Financial Modeling Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $100 - $200/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop institutional-grade financial modeling tasks based on real-world transaction scenarios.
• Create prompts and execution plans to guide AI systems in building models from scratch.
• Develop reference financial models and evaluation frameworks to assess AI-generated outputs.
• Build and review advanced models including 3-statement models, DCFs, LBOs, and M&A structures.
• Construct complex transaction scenarios such as recapitalizations, carve-outs, and growth equity deals.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis including unit economics and margin assessment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document assumptions, methodologies, and modeling logic.

Requirements

• Strong experience in investment banking, private equity, or related financial roles.
• Expertise in building complex financial models from scratch.
• Mastery of 3-statement modeling, DCF, LBO, and transaction modeling techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• High attention to detail and strong financial judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, high-performance environment.
