Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic
Duties
- Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes, dietary guidelines, and menu plans
- Assist in menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional balance, and seasonal freshness
- Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards
- Cook a variety of dishes with skillful knife techniques and proper food handling procedures
- Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and managing presentation details
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Culinary Experience
- Prior experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service within fine dining or similar settings
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations
- Demonstrated culinary skills including knife proficiency and creative food presentation
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for hygiene, safety, and quality assurance
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
