This role includes supervision and mentorship of sonography staff, maintaining high clinical standards, and ensuring quality assurance across all vascular imaging procedures.

Position Summary
The Senior Vascular Technologist serves as a lead provider of non-invasive vascular testing and clinical oversight within the vascular lab. This role includes supervision and mentorship of sonography staff, maintaining high clinical standards, and ensuring quality assurance across all vascular imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the full spectrum of vascular ultrasound studies, including but not limited to: Carotid, arterial, and venous duplex, AV fistula/graft/stent surveillance, Transcranial Doppler, renal artery, arterial physiology, and vein mapping
- Lead and support the technical team with ongoing education, training, and professional development
- Maintain exam quality through peer review and adherence to quality assurance protocols
- Assist with reaccreditation processes and staff training for students and residents
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across clinical departments
- Oversee image quality, documentation accuracy, and protocol adherence
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Vascular Technology, Ultrasound, or related Allied Health/Science field
- Completion of an accredited vascular ultrasound program (if degree is not in Vascular Tech)
- Required Certifications:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through ARDMS (or obtained within 24 months of hire)
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in vascular sonography
- Proven expertise with vascular lab equipment and imaging protocols
- Proficient in a wide range of vascular imaging techniques
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and quality control skills
- Effective communication and collaboration across clinical teams
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
Salary : $15,000 - $127,000
