Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Idaho. The role involves providing specialized nursing care for telemetry patients, with responsibilities including monitoring cardiac rhythms, interpreting telemetry data, and assisting with post-cath recovery and chest tube management. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Meridian, Idaho
- Schedule: Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including weekends as needed; may include float shifts to similar units, Med/Surg, ICU, Boise Medical Center, or Nampa Medical Center as required.
- Required Qualifications: RN license; Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Minimum of 2 years experience as a telemetry nurse; cardiac drip experience; NIH stroke assessment experience; post cath recovery and chest tube management experience.
- Additional information:
- Charge Nurse and House Supervisor roles are staffed separately and do not take patients.
- Nurse Aides are available on the unit with a 1:8 or 1:9 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- RT staff manage CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow respiratory equipment.
- Floating to similar units and Med/Surg at times; potential float to ICU if experienced.
- Any scrubs are acceptable if clean, well-kept, and professional.
- Orientation includes system onboarding followed by two orientation shifts.
- The hospital has a radius rule of 50 miles; candidates permanent addresses must be verified to be outside this radius before profile review.
