Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Nurse is needed for a healthcare organization located in an acute care setting. This role involves providing patient care on a step down or telemetry unit, with responsibilities inclusive of managing patients requiring close monitoring. Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years post-credentialing acute care experience in Progressive Care Units (PCU) or Medical-Surgical Telemetry units; RN license verified through Nursys; credentials including a valid license/certificate; current drivers license or state ID; required to have an Ascension profile and references.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic health record system; prior travel experience; ability to float within skill set or to sites within a 40-mile radius if needed.
• Additional Information: The selected candidate will need to complete specialty exam and skills verification for RN Step Down (PCU) qualification. The role may involve floating within the scope of skills or to nearby facilities based on operational needs.
