Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Rochester, Minnesota. This position involves coordinating nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients across various specialties, including medical, surgical, trauma, orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, and pulmonary. The RN will support the units transplant and complex multi-organ patients, working within a diverse, dynamic environment to ensure high-quality patient care and family support.

- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, with 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week.
- Start Date: 07/27/2026
- Required Qualifications: Minimum education includes being a student or graduate of an accredited baccalaureate, associate, or diploma nursing program; current RN license per applicable state requirements; at least one year of RN experience in a relevant care setting within the last five years; one year of recent travel RN experience; and two years of PICU RN experience. Experience in Level 1 trauma and intubated patient care is required. Solid organ transplant experience is strongly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in CCRN and TCTCN are strongly preferred. Additional specialty certifications such as BLS, PALS, and RN license are required.
- Schedule Notes: This assignment offers 12-hour rotating day/night shifts with every third weekend required. Floating to other units may be required.
- Additional Information: The RN supports professional nursing practice following the American Nurses Association (ANA) Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice and the organizations nursing model. Responsibilities include patient education, care transitions, leadership, and mentoring within a pediatric ICU setting caring for critically ill children with complex conditions.
