Job Summary:

Pediatric Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position in New Britain, Connecticut. This role involves providing care to pediatric patients with complex medical needs, including prematurity, congenital/genetic conditions, and rehab components. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers flexibility for either 36 or 40 hours per week with evening shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required. Shifts may be 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.


• Required Qualifications: RN experience with respiratory/vented patients strongly preferred. Must have a minimum of 0 years of experience. Valid nursing license required.


• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience is preferred.


• Float: Float rotation may be required.


• Additional Information: The unit has 28 beds and specific procedures including IVs, gastric tubes, tracheostomies, vents, and infusions. Nurses do not manage ventilators, as respiratory therapists handle vents. Profiles must be clean and easy to follow; any issues will be sent back for corrections. Experience with respiratory/vented patients should be noted if applicable.
