Job Summary:

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position available in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing comprehensive and specialized care for neonatal patients in a Level III NICU or higher. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes for vulnerable, newborn patients and their families.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Valid Nevada Registered Nurse license or ability to obtain and maintain one prior to hire. Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). A minimum of three years of exclusive NICU experience in Level 3 NICU or higher, with ventilator training.


• Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to meet organizational needs up to their competency level. Will be required to pick up one additional shift during each schedule period. The schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. The department may call off shifts with 48 hours' notice if census is low, per a 13-week contract.
