Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Lubbock, Texas. This opportunity involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients in a short-term acute care facility. The role requires flexibility with unit assignments and offers a comprehensive orientation to ensure clinical readiness.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026


• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas license or compact license in hand at submission; at least 1.5 years of ICU experience; Certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, arterial line and central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, arterial blood gases interpretation, suctioning (ETT, NT), and isolation precautions/PPE.


• Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, trauma level II experience, and travel experience.


• Additional Information: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Candidates may be asked to float between nearby facilities; refusal to float may result in contract termination. Candidates should not contact facility contacts directly unless through approved channels. Must include response to prior employment at Providence facilities if applicable.
