Job Summary:

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse opportunities are available in Waco, Texas. This position involves providing critical care in a high-acuity clinical environment, with responsibilities including managing complex patient conditions across a conglomerate ICU unit that integrates medical, surgical, and cardiovascular cases. The nurse must possess the ability to float between ICU and step-down service lines to meet operational needs.

Job Details:

• Position: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse


• Location: Waco, Texas


• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of two years experience in critical care, ability to float between ICU and step-down units, experience with complex cardiovascular and medical cases, proficiency in vent management, and familiarity with advanced critical care interventions.


• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or other relevant critical care certifications.


• Additional Information: The ICU unit handles cases such as TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, CRRT, STEMI, HF, hypoxic, respiratory failure, CHF, and pneumonia. Flexibility to float within critical care service lines is required.
