Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in an acute care setting. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care on night shifts, with flexible options for 36 or 48-hour workweeks. Candidates will deliver patient-centered treatment across a wide spectrum of urgent health conditions and participate in interdisciplinary team activities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); Valid Kansas or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; Minimum of 0 years of experience; 50-mile local radius, locals not accepted.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with community hospital settings, trauma level II experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
- Additional Information: The role requires charting experience in Epic electronic health record system and involves managing a diverse range of emergency medical conditions, including intubation, arterial line management, and complex trauma care. Travel compliance and license validation are essential. Orientation duration is 24 hours, with modules completed onsite during orientation.
