Job Summary:

Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical with Telemetry - Lee's Summit, MO. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within a community hospital setting, with a primary focus on telemetry units. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with various cardiac and medical conditions, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Valid licenses with at least 2 years of clinical experience, including community hospital settings; current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute); experience with community hospital charting systems, telemetry, and patient management; ability to float within scope as needed.


• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, working in MS/Tele, telemetry oncology, neuro stepdown, or ICU units; certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.


• Float: Float within scope to meet facility needs.


• Additional Information: The candidate may be required to float between departments and units. The assignment includes clinical responsibilities such as cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, medication administration, and ventilator management. The position involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with acute cardiac, respiratory, and other medical conditions. The assignment begins on 08/31/2026, with a required compliance deadline of two Fridays prior to start date.
