Job Summary:

Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position in Marquette, Michigan. Located in a 225-bed specialty care hospital, this role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses in a fast-paced environment. The RN will contribute to high-quality patient care on the medical/surgical floor, working night shifts with a scheduled minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, ACLS certification, at least 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical setting, proficiency in critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, working knowledge of Cerner electronic health records, and the ability to handle stressful environments.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a medical/surgical unit, familiarity with telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, bladder scanner, and Dynamaps equipment.


• Additional Information: The position requires working with adult and geriatric patient populations, with a patient ratio of approximately 5:1 to 6:1. Dress code is scrub attire in galaxy blue or navy. Tattoos must be covered, and nails should be clean and of moderate length.
