Job Summary:

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Granbury, Texas. This position involves providing comprehensive care in an 8-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Neonatal unit. The RN will manage high-risk labor cases, perform postpartum and newborn care, and assist with fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation in a rural setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: RN licensure, BLS certification, ACLS certification (AHA or ARC), NRP certification, intermediate fetal monitoring certification (ENA), 2 years of experience, ability to circulate during C-sections, experience in high-risk labor management, ability to interpret fetal monitoring, postpartum and neonatal resuscitation skills, postpartum/couplet care competency, ability to work independently in a low-volume, high-acuity rural setting.


• Preferred Qualifications: Previous rural hospital experience, experience in LDRP model, scope of role includes labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care, patient ratio of 1:1 in labor and 3:1 for couplet care.


• Additional Information: Must work one major holiday if the assignment overlaps. The RN must be competent in intrapartum management including induction/augmentation, fetal heart rate interpretation, and circulating C-sections. The candidate must be able to transition seamlessly between labor, nursery, and couplet care based on census and staffing needs.
