Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The organization is seeking a qualified Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Nurse to work in Sioux Falls, SD. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced, acute care environment, supporting a variety of cardiac procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their diagnostic and interventional cardiology treatments. Job Details Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Location: Sioux Falls, SD Schedule: Rotating shifts, 4-10 hours per shift (morning to early evening), minimum of 40 hours per week. Shifts vary between 0530-1600, 0630-1700, and 0730-1800. On-call requirements include 1-2 calls per week and 1 weekend every 3-4 weeks, with a 30-minute response time. Required Qualifications: Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), active RN license in a State Department of Nursing or multistate licensure, minimum 2 years of cath lab experience, graduation from a National League for Nursing (NLN) or American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) accredited nursing program (preferred), Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cath lab procedures such as left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, venous ablations, peripheral vascular angiograms; familiarity with Pyxis, Philips monitoring system, EPIC, Ultrasound, Angiojets, EKOS machines, and contrast injection systems. Additional Information: Orientation period of 4-6 shifts focused on charting and physician equipment; duties include administering conscious sedation, circulating in sterile environments, and monitoring patient status during complex cardiac procedures. Nurses must badge in and out at the facility, and scrubs are provided.
