Job Summary

A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse is needed in Alaska to support a busy acute hospital facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care during cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and other interventional cardiovascular interventions. The position ensures quality patient care within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); Alaska RN license in hand required for auto-offer; minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting.


• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.


• Additional responsibilities include on-call duties, approximately 1 day per week and the 4th/5th weekend (Friday at 1800 to Monday at 0730), with a guaranteed of 70 hours per 2-week period.


• The role may include floating within scope to different units such as Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) labs.


• Candidate must be willing to work a block schedule, including holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).


• Submission requires responding to inquiries about previous experience at healthcare facilities and providing two references covering the last year within the past three years.


• This position involves participation in modules and orientation, with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts.


• Candidates are expected to be flexible with float and on-call requirements, as well as adhere to facility policies regarding scheduling and RTO requests.
